Kristen Schier
Elective Workshop: In the Style of Shakespeare
Dive into a world where language is alive—rife with rhetoric, rich with poetry, and driven by bold intention. Emotions run high, and every character’s inner life is vivid and specific.
Let’s learn to improvise like Shakespeare.
This isn’t about tossing in a few “thees” and “thous.” It’s about crafting metaphor, building imagery, and letting language elevate your performance. You’ll explore how heightened text can deepen character, sharpen choices, and bring scenes to life.
Even if you never perform in a Shakespearean style, this workshop will expand your relationship to language, unlocking new levels of play, wit, and creativity.
Come tap into your inner playwright—and discover what happens when your words truly matter.
