Making a Marketing and Business Plan and Executing it

When you start a theater, run an improv team, or dream up a business: having a great idea is the easy part. Getting people to show up is the hard part.

In this workshop we’re going to build your plan together, in the room. Whether you own a theater, lead a team that’s tired of performing for the same six friends or you’ve got a business idea living rent-free in your head, you’ll walk out with a real marketing and business plan, not a vague feeling of inspiration that’s gone after the event.

We’ll figure out who your audience actually is, what makes you worth their time and money, where to find them, and how to turn that into a step-by-step plan you can start on the next morning. No MBA required. No corporate jargon. Just practical tools I’ve learned (mostly the hard way) helping build RISE Comedy, Improv Utopia, Haus of Comedy and CrowdWork.

Bring your idea, your questions and you’ll leave with a plan.
